We see you’re looking for some help and our support team is standing by ready to assist you. But first, take a look at these frequently asked questions to see if they give you the answers you need.
Let’s populate it! Add the course materials required by your instructors this term including your digital course/platform and online textbooks. You can search for products using the Search Tool by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the upper right of your dashboard. If you already have a Course Key from your instructor, you can click “Register another product” and follow the prompts to get into your course. Here’s a 1 minute video that highlights how to navigate Cengage Unlimited.
www.cengage.com/unlimited and add your preferred access duration to your cart. Click on your cart to see your upgrade price and proceed to checkout for purchase. NOTE: You must be logged into to your Cengage account in order for the system to recognize your previous standalone purchase.
To upgrade from your standalone digital product to Cengage Unlimited, please visitIf you are enrolled in a multi-term course (a course using a Cengage digital platform using the same Cengage text) and purchased a Cengage Unlimited subscription, you do not need to purchase access to that course for future terms.
1. Sign in at login.cengage.com. Or, if using an LMS, sign in to your school’s LMS using the same credentials you used for the original course.
2. After selecting the course, choose “Open Course”. You will NOT need to register another access code OR pay for access as long as you are using the same log-in information.

Print rentals are only available for products affiliated with your digital course. Try enrolling in your digital course first.

Cengage accepts returns of purchased products under the following terms:
Print Products (non-rental)
Refunds are available for non-electronically delivered products within 30 days of purchase. Customers are responsible for return shipping charges. Returns must be in saleable condition and sent to Cengage at the following address:

Print Rentals
Print rentals fulfilled by Cengage that are returned within 30-days of purchase are considered “cancellations” and will be refunded. To cancel your rental, follow these steps:
- Login to your student account at www.cengage.com
- Click on your name, then My Rentals
- Select the print rental you wish to cancel
- Click the Cancel button (you will not see this option if you have had the rental for more than 30 days)
- Select a reason for cancellation
- Click PRINT LABEL to print out the prepaid UPS label. You MUST include this label in order to receive a refund on your rental
- Place your rental book in a package and attach the pre-printed UPS label. Note: if you are returning multiple rentals from Cengage, each book needs to be in a separate package with its own shipping label
- Drop off your package to the nearest UPS package drop off location
Print rentals returned after 30-days are not considered cancellations and will not be refunded.

eBooks
VitalSource ebooks are refundable under certain circumstances:
- You purchased your subscription to this ebook no more than two weeks ago
- You have not viewed or printed more than 10% of the text
- You have not redeemed the Access Code for any of the eResources or Companion Materials included with the ebook
- You have not received a refund for the same title previously
- Any ebooks in offline mode must be checked in to online mode
Digital Homework
Digital homework products that have a grace period (4LTR Onine, Aplia, CengageNOW, OWLv2, and MindTap) can be refunded within the grace period. After the grace period has expired, refunds will no longer be available.
Digital homework products without a grace period are refundable under certain circumstances:
- You purchased your subscription to the digital product no more than two weeks prior to the date on which you are requesting a refund
- You have not completed more than four homework assignments
- You have not received a refund for the same product previously
- You have not redeemed the Access Code for any of the eResources or Companion Materials included with the digital product
Cengage Unlimited
You are eligible for a refund of Cengage Unlimited within 14 days of purchase. Please contact customer support to process your refund.
